Our Services

Literally Just Weeds (LJW) is a weeding-focused garden maintenance service. Additionally, we can also provide plant bed cleanup for clients in addition to weed removal.

Plant bed cleanup may include: 

• pruning away spent material, such as old seed heads and blooms 

• trimming down dead or broken branches and canes

• clearing minor debris, such as fallen leaves, from off of garden plantings and garden stepping stones/pathways/features

Please note that we do not maintain garden plants or do major leaf/debris removal.

These optional additions are intended as light detail work to enhance your garden's general appearance and well-being in addition to managing the weeds.

Important Disclaimers

LJW does not haul away any yard waste or garden debris. Clients are fully responsible for proper disposal or composting of all garden waste and must have a green bin or other appropriate receptacle for LJW to put weeds and debris into. It is also the client's responsibility to make sure the receptacle is ready, accessible, and has sufficient room for garden waste in time for scheduled appointments.

LJW's weeding methods are not intended or designed for total annihilation of garden weeds. We believe this is not realistically achievable without long-term, professional garden planning or taking measures that have negative impacts on both the garden and the environment. Rather, we focus on weeds from a perspective of maintenance, with regular weed control contributing to a sustainable, long-term reduction of the weeds that come back.

• lawn care 

• plant care

      • grass/turf removal

• land clearing, removal of large plants, shrubs, areas of vines, etc.

• blackberry removal/control

• planting or removal of plantings

• hedge care or trimming

• leaf raking or removal

• thatching

• fertilizing

• watering or irrigation

• tree care

• soil revival

• mulching

• any other landscape-related or yard/garden maintenance services
